The Reversible Design Checklist was developed by Brussels Environment, in collaboration with urban.brussels, the BMA and Perspective, to stimulate reversible construction and renovations in the Brussels Region.

The checklist addresses the two aspects of reversibility, namely: spatial reversibility which aims to extend the lifespan of the building by facilitating changes in future uses and functions and technical reversibility which aims at the dismantling and reuse of elements, components and materials.
