UPA-BUA actions for the profession

The UPA-BUA, Royal Professional Union of Architects, has been since its founding in 1932 one of the most active associations in the country. Its goal is to promote the architectural profession and its societal issues. Its actions, which have marked the history of the profession, bear witness to this. Members of the UPA-BUA have generated many initiatives such as: the creation of the insurance company AR-CO, the professional practice "Architects-Builders", the open days "My House, My Architect", publications including the Unit Price Schedule.

The UPA brings together architects from different regions of Belgium and different statutes and practices. It is open to all architects or qualified engineer-architects and has a Dutch-speaking wing: the Koninklijke BeroepsUnie van Architecten (BUA).
