The Van Hove Prize returns for its 2026 edition
We are pleased to announce the launch of the 2026 edition of the Van Hove Prize!
Have you recently graduated in architecture? Showcase your work and kick-start your professional career! Registrations for the 2026 edition of the Van Hove Prize will officially open on Monday, 6 July.
Created in 1982 in tribute to the founding president of the UPA, this prestigious competition rewards every year the best final-year architecture projects in Belgium.
Who can participate?
The competition is open to all students who have successfully completed their studies at a Belgian university faculty awarding a degree in architecture or architectural engineering. The prize is specifically awarded for a final-year project (submitted for the Master 2 degree).
Key dates
- Opening of submissions: Monday, 6 July 2026
- Submission deadline: Friday, 18 September 2026 at 23:59
