The new Code of Economic Law
The "new" ECONOMIC LAW CODE :
new practices and new contracts for architects
In particular, it imposes various obligations on architects in terms of information for the client, the insertion of mandatory contractual clauses (while other clauses are prohibited), the right of withdrawal for the client and the prohibition of unfair behaviour towards colleagues.
How to comply with these new rules and ensure that valid contracts are drawn up? How to avoid them being declared null and void? How to avoid fee disputes?
These are some of the practical questions that the seminar organized by the UPA-BUA which took place on May 11, 2016 addressed through the interventions of three lawyers :
- Presentation of the Code of Economic Law by Mr. Olivier HAENECOUR (President of the Mons Bar Association)
- The CDE and architect-client relations by Thierry LOTH and Pauline DELZANDRE (Lawyers in Mons).
The texts of the speeches of this evening (with the code) are available for consultation by the members and participants in the "Resources" section.
