After the interesting general presentation given by the Bouwmeester of Charleroi, Giorgios Mailis at the Town Hall, which allowed participants to discover the political dynamics of the city's development and renovation, the participants were able to discover the new Left Bank shopping centre and the surrounding streets.

They then shared lunch in the cafeteria at Quai 10, a former National Bank building converted into an interesting cinema complex.

Some took advantage of the afternoon to discover other parts of the city or to visit the exhibition devoted to Marthe Wéry at BPS 2 (Bâtiment Provincial Solvay: a former training workshop cleverly converted into an exhibition space).
